What we collect

Your account details, the clips you upload, a selfie, a short head-turn video and about a minute of your voice for each avatar, a record of your consents (version, time, IP address and browser), and your credits and payments. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Face and voice

Face geometry and voiceprints are biometric data. We ask for your written release before capturing them and use them only as the biometric notice describes: to make your videos and to check that the face in each video is yours. We never sell them or use them for advertising.

When someone else is in your video, or you are in theirs

If you say yes to an invite or share an avatar, the person you said yes to can render clips with your face and, if you added it, your voice. They don't get your files; Flavi does the rendering. You can see every clip that used you and take it back any time. Licensed creators see who licensed them and for which clip. For a character, we keep your description, the generated faces and voices, and the one you picked. For a signed release, we keep the release and photos for review and while the release is in use.

The iPhone waitlist

If you join the iPhone waitlist, we keep your email, your invite code, how many friends joined with it and a one-way hash of your IP address (to stop one person counting as many friends). We use the email only to send your TestFlight invite and to tell you when the app is on the App Store. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form is filled in by a person.

Who processes it

Files go only to the services needed to check and render them: Supabase (storage and accounts), our face and content check provider, ElevenLabs (voice), Enhancor and ByteDance Seedance (video), Google Gemini and Replicate (scene analysis), Stripe (payments). Files are stored privately and shared through short-lived links.

Your choices

Delete an avatar or your whole account from Settings. Deleting your account removes your avatars, voice samples, clips and login. For a copy of your data or any other request, write to support@flaavi.app.
